He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stinson and Elizabeth Stinson; and his siblings, A. D. Stinson, Hobson Vansant, Horace Vansant, Jack Vansant and Julia May Vansant.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Stinson; his daughter Karen Guarino (Michael); and his adoptive sons, Ethan Howell and Clay Howell. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Amazing Grace Church (949 AL-3, Alabaster, AL 35007). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
