He is survived by: his siblings, Hollis, Grady Benson, Jewel Benson, Judy Benson McCall and Sudie Benson Higgins; and his children, Ramona Benson Mitchell (Mike), Regina O'Brien (Jim), Kimberly Bell (Preston) and Gene Benson (Kelli). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
