He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanie Duffey; and his great grandchild Elijah Whitson. He is survived by: his children, Terri Hooper, Dianne Whitson (Roger) and Grady Gene Duffey Jr.; his grandsons, Micah Whitson (Christina), Casey Hooper, Caleb Whitson (Rebecca), Spencer Duffey (Meagan) and Cameron Duffey; and his great grandchildren, Lucas Whitson and Jonah Whitson.
