It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris L. Lamons of Wilsonville, Alabama, who passed away on July 9, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hannah and Mary Hannah; and her brother Jerry Neil Hannah. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Lamons; her sons, Lee Lamons (Katheryne) and Dennis Lamons (Becky); her grandchildren, Colin and Madison Lamons; and her siblings, JB Hannah (Janet) and Brenda Smitherman (Terrell).
