She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry E Pierre and A. Loyis Pierre; her husband Eugene Smither; her grandchildren, Daina A Denmark and Len E Pierce; her son-in-law Gerald Pierce; and her sister Audrey L Ballance.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn E Pierce of Wilmer, Deborah A Denmark of Wilmer, Phillip D Smither of Chickasaw and Kevin G Smither (Disa) of Grand Bay; and her sister H. Jean Ryan. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (6040 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
