He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Hayes and Catherine Hayes; his grandson Zachary; and his sister-in-law Marianne. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hayes; his children, Kathie Duff (Randy), Jimmy Hayes (Angela) and Randall Hayes (Davena); his brothers, Horace Hayes (Mary) and Wayne Hayes (Judy); his sister-in-law Marie DuBose (Jerry); and his aunt Olla Mae. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
