He was predeceased by: his parents, Noble Patrick, Sr. and Donnie Ruth Smith; and his siblings, Noble, Jr., Doris Callaway, Charles, Paul, Homer, Patricia Davidson and Johnny.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Young Smith; his children, Jimmy, Jr. (Leesa), Laurie McDaniel (Noel) and Susan Hinton (Stacie); his grandchildren, Jacob, Taylor (Meleah), Abby Mills (Tyler), Zachary, Samuel McDaniel (Brandy), Emily, Julie McDaniel, Kayne Hinton and Benjamin McDaniel; his great grandchildren, Blair Mills and Alex McDaniel; and his sister Betty Lou Brannan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made to the Tanner Williams Assembly of God Building Fund.
