He was predeceased by: his wife Annette Sowell Odem; his daughter Sherry Jay; and his parents, Columbus W. Odem and Beatrice Odem. He is survived by: his stepson Danny Johnson of Goodway; his nieces, Tina Butler of Chunchula and Terri Nichols of Citronelle; his grandchildren, Justin Drummond, Ryan Drummond, Kylie Morgan, Louis Lowery, Tara Rorex, Britney Davis and Crystal Butler; and his great grandchildren, Aubrie Drummond, Lillie Grace Drummond, Maggie Drummond, Devon Lowery, Tanner Davis, Sara Lynn Davis, Grace Lynn Sheppard, Brayden Odom, Emily Odom and Cameron Odom.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Monroe Chapel Funeral Home (2252 US-84, Frisco City, AL 36445). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Sowell Old Field Cemetery.
