She was predeceased by: her husband Lafe "Tubby" Summers; and her siblings, Willis Elmer Dykes, Vernon Dykes, Mildred Creel and Ondie Brewer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeannie Byrd of Wilmer, AL and Trish Givens of Semmes, AL; her brother Gerald Dykes (Geri) of Richton; her grandchildren, Crystal Weaver, Wesley Byrd, Damon Givens and Dayton Givens; and her great grandchildren, Airyonna Weaver, Keelan Moye, Cobie Moye, Breaunna Byrd, C. J. McNeal and Sadie Givens. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
