He was predeceased by: his parents, Tim Jackson Copeland and Millie Lorene Phillips; and his siblings, Mary Ethel Copeland, Betty Louise Turner, Glendine Garrick, James Coleman Copeland, Mary Janice Elmore, Clyde Douglas Copeland and Romaine Daniels.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Pugh Copeland; his daughters, Sandra Garner and Linda Goodman (Dale); his grandchildren, Lee Ramsey, Jonathan Ramsey, Brandi Stacey (Tony), Brittany Garrick (Brandon) and Lacey Ramsey; his great grandchildren, Brooke Ramsey, Theron Stacey, Destiny Crutchfield, Hunter Stacey, Hailey Crutchfield, Alyssa Crutchfield, Aaron Barbour, Reece Garrick, Tanner Herring and Lucas Stacey; and his siblings, Mae Eva Newman, Jearlene Voshla, Evelyn Cooper and Teddy Gene Copeland.
