He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Jean Duke; and his parents, Watson Brown and Mary Dunlap Duke. He is survived by: his children, William Watson Duke, II (Amanda) and Dixie Allison Duke (Melissa); and his brother Julius Zeno "Toby" Duke. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
