He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Inez Quattlebaum; his children, Cathy Shaw and Richard Quattlebaum, Jr.; his parents, Lee Quattlebaum and Nannie Quattlebaum; and his sisters, Helen Jo Wahl and Catherine Neal.
He is survived by: his daughters, Fran Thompson (Mark) and Beth Stephens (Rick); his grandchildren, Christy Gardner (Randy), Scott Lyerly (Chelsea), Ricky Stephens (Rachel), Ryan Stephens (Joanna), Christin Thompson Lorenz (Luke), McKenzey Thompson and Grant Thompson; his great grandchildren, Paige, Justin, Trent, Ethen, Caitlyn, Reagan, Paxton, Aaron, Chris, Laina, Sophia, Amber, Brecken, Lemon Belle, Maverick, Thomas, Emerson and Addison; his great great grandchild Lucas; and his siblings, Mary Bess Walls, Jerry Quattlebaum and Nanette Shelton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gassett Funeral Home (204 E Charles Ave, Wetumpka, AL 36092). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
