He was predeceased by: his parents, Celia Menefee Armstrong and Cottrell Marcellous "Pete" Boyd; and his brother Daniel Stevens Boyd (Danny). He is survived by: his daughter Harper Boyd; his siblings, Jennie Barrett (Nealy) of Wetumpka and Jim Boyd (Kathleen) of Germantown, TN; his sister-in-law Laura Boyd of Birmingham; his brother Jeff Boyd (Jennifer) of Sprague, AL.; his nieces and nephews, Justin Barrett, Katie Swetz, Virginia Evans, Whitney Barrett, Carolyn Boyd, Martha Boyd, Jordan Boyd and Jacob Boyd; his cousins, Tracie Setzer, Bruce Boyd and Don Hicks; his significant other Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity; and his pet Rusty. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews, many cherished friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mulder Church (3454 Firetower Rd, Wetumpka, AL 36092). A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
