He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Benton and Verlie Whaley Benton. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Benton; his daughters, Dianne Morris (Randall) and Brenda Teuton (Hank); his granddaughter Ali Kusky (Joey); his great grandchildren, Cael Kusky and Abbey Kusky; and his sister-in-law Ladene Higgins (Jim). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Gassett Funeral Home Chapel (204 E Charles Ave, Wetumpka, AL 36092). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
