With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George David Salum III of Wetumpka, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2024 at the age of 63. He was predeceased by: his parents, Major George David Salum, Jr. and Sharon Prince. He is survived by: his children, Amber Salum, Justin Salum (Amber) and Shayna Salum; his grandchildren, Carlie Salum, Carter Salum, Walker Terrell, Mason Salum, Charleigh Salum, Landyn LeFlore, Rhyan LeFlore, Carson Salum and Caydence Salum; his siblings, Michael Salum, Bobby Prince, Jr. (Leslie), Kim Barnett and Kathy Thrash (David); his stepmother Pat Salum; his stepsister Christy Salum Kirby; and his former wife Sonya Bryan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gassett Funeral Home (204 E Charles Ave, Wetumpka, AL 36092). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gassett Funeral Home Chapel (204 E Charles Ave, Wetumpka, AL 36092).
