He was predeceased by : his parents, William James Smith (Bill) and Virginia Strock Smith. He is survived by : his grandchildren, Rudy Smith, Andy Gregg, Rebecca Perdue and Ryan Perdue; his wife Marlene Tennant; his daughters, Marcy Smith Perdue (Rod) and Darlene Smith Gregg (Forrest); and his brother Gary Kirk Smith (Miriam).
In lieu of flowers, the family request that a donation be made in his memory at Montgomery Cancer Center.
