He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Charles C. McManus; his sister Linda Hoagland (Alvin); his mother Lois Mae McManus; and his nephews, Bryan and Brad Hoagland. He was also cherished by numerous great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church.
