She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Clay and Octavia Jackson; her siblings, Bernice Barnes, Walter, Marshall Jackson, Lonnie Jolly, Nathanial and Jimmy Clay; her grandsons, Maurice James Clay and Jamal Fareed Ford; and her grandmother Beck.
She is survived by: her sister Mary (Rufus Clay); her children, Bernice Ford (late Levi Ford), Johnny Clay and Juanita Dancy (Isaac Dancy); and her grandchildren, Levi Ford IV, Nafeesah Ford, Rasheed Ford, Sam Clay, Marquis Clay, Rahim Clay, Isaac Clay, Eric and Erica Clay. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
