She was predeceased by: her husband J. W. Averette; her daughter Patricia Gale Jones; and her parents, John William and Willie May Morse. She is survived by: her children, William Eugene Averette (Hypatia) of Vance and Teresa Diane Callahan (Paul) of Cottondale; her son-in-law Junior Jones of Brent; and her siblings, Nancy Harris of West Blocton, William Morse of Texas, Tommy Morse of Brent and Chuck Morse of West Blocton. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
