It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gennie Faye Yeager of West Blocton, Alabama, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her children, Grover Glenn Russell and Rita Cook Russell; her siblings, Clarence West Jr., Douglas Clifford West, William David West, Jimmy Ray West and Sara Nell Stamps; and her parents, Clarence West Sr. and Ruby Brown West.

She is survived by: her children, Phillip Cook and Gena Cook Latham; and her sister Ellen West Smith. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
