It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis L. Smitherman of West Blocton, Alabama, who passed away on February 20, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Jewell Smitherman; and his granddaughter Amanda Carroll. He is survived by: his sons, Eddie Wayne Smitherman (Donna), David Smitherman (Reneita) and Stevie Smitherman (Robin); and his siblings, Kenneth Smitherman and Patsy Pendergrass. He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
