He was predeceased by: his father Charley Lewis "Chock" Garner. He is survived by: his wife Terri D. Garner; his daughter Linda Link; his granddaughters, Katie, Maycie and Arielle "Maddie"; his mother Sarah A. Garner; his sister Peggy McKnight (Eddy); his niece Ashley Habrial (Jon); his nephews, Aaron McKnight and Michael McKnight (Natalie); his great-nieces, Charlotte and Lucy; and his great-nephew Lucas (Luke). He is also survived by Several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Ascension St. Vincent's Foundation (stvfoundation.org) in Charles name.
