It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtice Pope (Weogufka, Alabama), who passed away on March 6, 2018, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Pope; and her grandchildren, Bradley Allen Waites and Brandy Marie Waites. She is survived by: her daughter Patti Waites (Allen) of Alpine; her grandchildren, Brayden Waites, Shayla Waites and Bryan Waites; her stepdaughters, Jamie Murray (Tim) of Sylacauga and Felicia Kelley (Gene) of Weogufka; and her sisters, Mary Ann Thornton (Jimmy) of Sylacauga and Diane Dew of Lincoln. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
