She was predeceased by: her husband W. R. Prater; her son Johnny Prater; her parents, Lawrence Green and Hattie Green; and her siblings, Jack Green and Martell Green Pruitt.

She is survived by: her daughter Carol Prater Seale (Jim); her daughter-in-law Anne Prater; her sister Joyce Chandler; her grandchildren, Brian Seale (Stephanie), Melinda Seale Simmons (David) and Lacey Prater Nelson (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Joy Simmons, Emily Simmons, Baileigh Seale and Austin Nelson.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lillian's memory may be made to Women's Ministries at Weogufka Second Baptist Church.
