He is survived by: his daughter Christie Penton (Barry); his grandchildren, Micha Penton, Joshua Penton and Mayla Penton; his sisters, Dorris Curtis (Tim), Faye Helm (Richard) and Eloise Merrell; and his close friends, Ray Weldon (Betty) and Wade Ezekiel.
