She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Grimes; her children, Teresa Marie Grimes and Jim Grimes; her parents, Irby Collins and Lillian Collins; and her siblings, John Ed Collins, Bobby Jo Collins and Betty Payton.
She is survived by: her son Tim Grimes (Amy); her grandchildren, Travis Grimes (Stacey), Wendy Nordquist (Pete), Jeremy Grimes (Christy) and Chad Grimes (Katie); and her siblings, Mary Patterson, Erbie Bryant, Roscoe Collins and Howard Collins. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Radney-Smith Funeral Home (320 N Elm Ave, Sylacauga, AL 35150). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
