He was predeceased by: his son Weyland "Dwight" Burton Jr.; and his grandson Brady Cole Denson. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Frost Burton; his children, Jared Burton (Terria) and Jennifer Denson (Rodney); his daughter-in-law Edie Burton; his grandchildren, Trent, Trevor, Grant, Kenlee, Isaac, Clara Burton, Connor Denson and Logan Denson; and his sister-in-law Novie Burton. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
