He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewell Dyer and Mary Dyer; his parents-in-law, James and Faye Glenn; his daughters, Renea and Stephanie; and his siblings, Leonard, Levon Godfrey and Mary Jewell Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Dyer; his sister Janice Brown; and his daughters, Debrah Fragoso (Victor), Teresa Fennell (Tony) and Alisha Henson (Robert). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
