She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Johnson and Claudette Johnson. She is survived by: her daughters, Megan Heathcock (Jacob) and Kaitlin Harvey (Tanner Mize); her sister Kay Yancy (Keith); her close friend Dennis Weber; her nephews, Kyle Yancy (Rebecca) and Kaleb Yancy (Hannah); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Will, Remi, Millie, Jamie and Archer; and also, Lexi and Lauren Weber.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to St Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
