With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Read McCarley of Wellington, Alabama, who passed away on July 25, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Read and Doris Read; her brother-in-law Daryl Barber; and her parents-in-law, William and Hazel McCarley.
She is survived by: her husband Herb McCarley; her children, Bert McCarley (Lauren) and Brooke McCarley-Suda (Chris); her grandchildren, Lillian and Ensleigh McCarley; her siblings, Tommy Read (Rita) and Susan Read Barber; her nephews, Nathan Read (Lauren), Broc Read, Chael Barber (Brandy) and Court Barber (Tori); and her niece Paige Williamson (Drew). She is also survived by cousins, great nieces, great nephews, aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
