She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Hengeveld; her son Matthew Nicholas Hengeveld; her brother Paul Given Hoitsma; and her granddaughter Hannah Elizabeth Patterson. She is survived by: her children, Martha Bastedo (Bob) of Wellington, Amy Patterson (Sam) of Alexandria, Timothy Hengeveld (Holly) of High Point, NC, Jonathan Hengeveld (Lynnette) of Hewitt, NJ and Daniel Hengeveld (Emily) of Wellington; and her brothers, David Victor Hoitsma, Ernest Joel Hoitsma and Peter John Hoitsma. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
