She was predeceased by: her son Slade Singleton; her grandsons, William Marks Espy, Jr. and Grant Godwin Singleton; her parents, Robert Whitmore and Jo Whitmore; and her brother Kim Whitmore.

She is survived by: her husband Johnny L. Vinyard; her daughters, Gina Loveman (Alan) and Jana Espy (Bill); and her sister-in-law Tina Whitmore. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
