She was predeceased by: her husband Odis Maxwell; her siblings, L. C. White, Ernest Stokes, Johnnie Stokes, Buford Stokes, Kathleen Johnson and Mary Scott; and her grandson Jeremy Maxwell.

She is survived by: her children, Mike Maxwell (Jenny), Wanda Maxwell and Angie Maxwell-Trussell; her grandchildren, Keith, Amber (Sean), Jordan (Christian) and Rayne (Justin); and her sister Shirley Cook. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
