He was predeceased by: his parents, Chubby Goodwin and Leyla Goodwin; his son Matthew Goodwin; and his siblings, Lester, Tony, David Goodwin, Claudette Hasket and Brenda Goodwin.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy B. Goodwin; his children, Ben Goodwin Jr. (Becky) and Cassie Thomas (Matthew); his grandchildren, Brandon Goodwin, Mason Messer, Kaylee Thomas, Mileah Thomas and Owen Thomas; and his siblings, John Goodwin and Effie Budzien. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
