She was predeceased by: her parents, A. Esaias Shaw and Macie Robinson Shaw; her husband Herman Hornsby; and her brother-in-law Thomas Spratlin. She is survived by: her sisters, Phyllis Shaw Spratlin and Penny Shaw Phillips; her brother-in-law Cliff Phillips; her nieces, Melanie Leigh, Michele Rabanal, Monica Howard and Brittney Harper; and her nephew Chris Phillips.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Benefield Funeral Home (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Highway Congregational Methodist Church (12255 Co Rd 65, Roanoke, AL 36274).
