He was predeceased by: his parents, James Audrey Bailey and Virginia Nancy Messer Bailey; his wife Virginia Bell Lonneberg Bailey; his sons, Rodney Joe Bailey and James Paul Bailey; his grandson Jarrod Nathan Bailey; his great grandchild Brady Beau Milam; and his siblings, James Ray, Carey Joe, Jackie Blake Bailey and Joyce B. Harp.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Russell Bailey, Jr. (Donna) of Hope Hull, AL and Devona Faust (Terry) of Wetumpka, AL; his grandchildren, Bo Milam, Tara K. Day (Chris), Kevin Milam (Denise) and Janet Bailey; and his great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Jonathan Bailey, Colt Milam, Leo Wilkerson and Amos Milam.
