He was predeceased by: his parents, Stell Benefield and Viola Foster Benefield. He is survived by: his wife Carol Harlin Benefield of Wedowee; his children, Elizabeth Beasley (Mike) of Morris, AL and John Benefield (Andrea) of Mount Olive, AL; and his grandchildren, Katherine and Karoline Beasley.
