She was predeceased by: her father Ben; and her sister Vermell Rutlin. She is survived by: her children, Benjamin Ray Meadows (Annie) of Roanoke, Lorenzo Lee Meadows (Crystal) of Miami, FL and Valerie Labranche (Wilson); her goddaughter Torneisha Ghent of Talahassee; her sisters, Joan Knight of Albany, GA, Rudine Buchanan of Roanoke and Linda Marbel of Wedowee; and her friend Rachel Heard. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
