He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Abercrombie and Minnie Faye Leathers Abercrombie; his wife Annie Lois McDearis Abercrombie; and his children, Doug Abercrombie, Janet Miller and Teresa Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Ward (Bill) of Lake Jordan, AL, Kathy Norsworthy (Joe) of Jackson, GA and Tim Abercrombie (Lisa) of Douglasville; and his brother Sammy Abercrombie (Linda) of Douglasville. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jones-Wynn - Douglas Chapel (2189 Midway Rd, Douglasville, GA 30135). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
