She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph E. Hart and Pearly McKinney Hart; her husband Willis Harmon Carpenter; and her siblings, Mae Belle Waites, Mary Davis, Pearly Salter, James Hart and William Hart.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine (Ben Beaird), Sherry (Frank Foster, Jr.), Donna (Chris Mitchell), Lisa (Tim Brown) and Mark (Renae Carpenter) of Woodland; and her grandchildren, Emily Roach, Paul Beaird, Amanda Green, Trae Foster, Ashley Johnson, Jeff Mitchell, Ryan Mitchell, Leslie Gibbs, Scott Carpenter, Hannah, Brown and Bethany Terry. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
