He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn Pettitt of Wedowee; his daughter Cynthia Bailey (Earl Bouse) of Cleveland, GA; his grandchildren, Jessica Cummings (Darren) of Munford, AL and J. W. "Joe" Bailey (Jennifer) of Munford, AL; his great grandchildren, Kaylee Cummings, Ethan and Brie Bailey; his son Robert W. Pettitt, Jr. (Fred Gramoso) of Satellite Beach, FL; his grandson Jeffery Pettitt of Charleston, SC; his son Ricky Pettitt (Noreen) of Oxford, AL; his grandson James Pettitt of Oxford, AL; his son Rodger Pettitt (Tina) of Hamilton, GA; and his sister Mary Ruth Allen of Cos Cob, CT..
