He is survived by: his children, Tasha Higgins of Wedowee and Josh Higgins (Rachael) of Wedowee; his grandchildren, Kenzi Terrell, Kesli Higgins and Isaac Higgins; his siblings, Karon Higgins of Woodland, Janet Hughes of Wedowee, Debra Gilmore of Wedowee, Loretta Trotter of Guntersville, AL, Herbert Higgins of Roanoke, Truman Higgins of Woodland, Eddie Todd Whaley of Wedowee and Tim Whaley of Sylacauga, AL; and his close friend Ruth Brooks Wakefield of Wedowee.
