He is survived by: his wife Mary Amelia McCord Couch of Wedowee; his daughter Carrie Hood (Gene) of Gadsden; his stepdaughter Laura Melissa Crain of Wedowee; his brothers, Michael Couch (Laura) of Gadsden and Larry Couch of Gadsden; his grandchildren, Madeleine Lasseter and Kyle Lasseter; his siblings-in-law, Sue Dewees and John McCord (Effie); and his parents, George Samuel Couch and Beatrice Johnson Couch.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Benefield Funeral Home (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Benefied Funeral Chapel (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278). A burial will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rainbow Memorial Gardens (1440 W Grand Ave, Gadsden, AL 35904).
