It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oscar Marable (Wedowee, Alabama), who passed away on December 30, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roosevelt Marable and Henretta Nelson Marable; and his siblings, Minnie Lee Guy, Pearl Barrow, Annie Mae Dorsey, Velma Elizabeth Oneal, Arthur Marable, James Marable and John Otis Marable.
He is survived by: his son Sam Marable of Anniston, AL; his significant other Patrica Deeken; and his brothers, Kevin Thorne (Wanda) of Columbus, GA and Willie Marable (Linda) of Wedowee.
