She is survived by: her children, Chris Scales (Sandi) of Wedowee, AL, Lamar Scales (Sheila) of Columbus, GA., Jeffrey Scales of Temple, GA., Stephanie Phelps (Joseph) of Cummings, GA. and Cassandra Funderburke. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
