She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, David Knight of Wedowee and Mary June Knight (Houston); her son Omar Knight; her grandchildren, Omar Knight, Jr., Omaria Knight and Brayden Knight; her brother David Aundray Knight (Jessica) of Montgomery; her aunts and uncles, Eldrick "Chubby" Knight of Wadley, Orlando Marbury (Sharon) of Tuscaloosa, Patricia Hutchinson of Alexander City, Ophelia Lewis, Carolyn Drake, Molly Banks, Geneva Hunter and Yvonnia White of Wadley; her nephews, Reverend David L. Knight (Khaliya K. Knight) of Talladega, Joshua A. Knight and Benjamin R. Knight of Montgomery; her cousin Jennifer Calloway of Cleveland, OH; and her friend Minta Annetta Moss (Knight).
Viewing was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pine Flat Primitive Baptist Church (194 Co Rd 892, Wedowee, AL 36278). The State of Alabama does not have a state-wide mask mandate however, WE ASK all visitors and guests of the family to please note that the incidence of COVID-19 cases throughout Alabama are rising.
