She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Henderson and Frances Arendale Bramlett; her husband Sam Carpenter; her son Glenn Carpenter; and her brothers, Claude H. Bramlett, Jr. (Mary Ellen) and Charles E. Bramlett (Faye).
She is survived by: her children, Amy Carpenter Lyles, Mona Carpenter VanDyke, Sheila Carpenter Haney, Tracy Faulkner Carpenter and Jason Matthew Carpenter (Leslie); and her grandchildren, Casey Carpenter (Rebekah), Corey Carpenter, Austin Carpenter (Taylor), Ashley Lyles Entrekin (Evan), Hunter Lyles (Allison), Colton Lyles (Josie), Ava Catherine VanDyke, Abby Haney, Jack Carpenter, Saydee Carpenter, Sam Carpenter, Jase Carpenter and Lincoln Carpenter. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
