She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Henderson and Frances Arendale Bramlett; her husband Sam Carpenter; her son Glenn Carpenter; and her brothers, Claude H. Bramlett, Jr. (Mary Ellen) and Charles E. Bramlett (Faye).
She is survived by: her children, Amy Carpenter Lyles, Mona Carpenter VanDyke, Sheila Carpenter Haney, Tracy Faulkner Carpenter and Jason Matthew Carpenter (Leslie); and her grandchildren, Casey Carpenter (Rebekah), Corey Carpenter, Austin Carpenter (Taylor), Ashley Lyles Entrekin (Evan), Hunter Lyles (Allison), Colton Lyles (Josie), Ava Catherine VanDyke, Abby Haney, Jack Carpenter, Saydee Carpenter, Sam Carpenter, Jase Carpenter and Lincoln Carpenter. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Home (17624 US-431, Wedowee, AL 36278). The lying in state was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Roanoke Church of Christ (1149 Main St, Roanoke, AL 36274). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
