She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Hurley and Lexa Pool Hurley; and her brother John Hurley. She is survived by: her husband Harold G. Rice, Sr. of Wedowee; her son Harold G. Rice, Jr. (Kim) of Wedowee; her grandchildren, LaSanda Gaspard (Leonard) of Wadley, Teshia Heard (Jeff) of Woodland, Shauna Milner (William) of Wedowee and Krystal Payne (John) of Wedowee; and her siblings, Martha Smith (Lamar) of Carrollton, Patty Gail Holmes of Wedowee and James H. Hurley (Lenita) of Roanoke. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be floral or donations may be made to the Compassus Hospice Angels Program.
