It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Marie Thackston (Wedowee, Alabama), who passed away on February 20, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Richards and Minnie Polnick Richards. She is survived by: her sons, Derold Thackston (Chelsea) of Wedowee, Jacob Thackston of Wedowee and Isaac Thackston of Wedowee; and her brothers, Vernon Richards, Jr. of Powder Springs, GA and Danny Richards of Dallas, GA.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
