It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julie Boyd of Wedowee, Alabama, who passed away on July 4, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Baily and Jessie Mae Wright Baily; her husband James Aaron Boyd; her sister Ruby Lois Houston; and her grandson Aaron Deran Boyd.
She is survived by: her children, Jessie Angel (Eddie) of Wedowee, Mary Thurman of Wedowee, Stacy Boyd (Willie Battle) of Wedowee, Kimberly Ann Houston of Childersburg, AL, Steven Boyd (Valerie) of Rome, GA, Randy Boyd of Wedowee, Rodrecus Houston of Wedowee and Quartisa Houston of Ashland; her aunt Mary Martin of Dayton, OH; her niece Ruby Ann Hicks of Roanoke; her friend Queen Ethel Wright (David) of Wedowee; and her cousin Robert Bailey of Wedowee. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
